About Taking Part

Taking Part explains how decisions are made in New Zealand and how New Zealanders can help shape them by having their say.
The Electoral Commission developed this resource with the input of many people involved in different aspects of our democracy and in helping others to participate.
Using Taking Part with groups
Taking Part is suitable for group use, including with new New Zealanders.

Downloads of the print version and an online order form to request print copies are also available.
The B&W (black and white).pdf downloads below are suited for printing on A4 and sized to A3 paper. The Col (colour) .pdf downloads are more suited for sizing to A3 paper, or A4 at high quality, eg colour laser.
